KYHAM is a touchstone for those seeking information about amateur radio in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and those resources.
As an independent resource, KYHAM's mission is to facilitate connections within and from the amateur radio community to public service agencies and the general public. Maintaining objectivity and simply reporting information without editorializing KYHAM is neutral ground where all can gather. Please review the User Decorum, Linking and Acceptable Use Policies.
As independent as KYHAM is, you will find that the site (admittedly) has a slant towards emergency communications. Amateur radio operators serving their communities for public events and in time of emergency is an FCC mandated mission.
Active participation in the site's resources is welcomed. Anyone interested in KY ham radio is welcome to participate on the Bulletin Board System (BBS) and KYHAM email list. All resources are provided without cost or obligation.
We also welcome those active in amateur radio organizations to send us updated information for the local listings, news and ideas/talents for resources that can build connections in the KY amateur radio community.
We are proud of our legacy as the only statewide amateur radio resource web site since 1993.
