Fayette County ARES Registration:
Membership in Fayette County ARES is open to all persons without discrimination who meet the following criteria:
- You must be an amateur radio operator licensed by the FCC with a sincere interest in serving the community as part of a team of operators dedicated to emergency communications.
- You must have a sincere interest in furthering your knowledge of communications and emergency response.
- You must contribute something to the organization. Instead of money, your dues to be a member are time and effort. Participate to the level your life permits, and help accomplish some of the many tasks large or small of the organization.
- If you have a specific interest, let us know as we would like for you to participate in an area of your choice. If you have a specialized skill in a technical part of amateur radio or emergency service, please share your knowledge and skills with us.
